The trainer, hard hands drill, certification exam, daily challenge, and records page save your progress — accuracy, streaks, best scores, credits — using your browser's local storage. This data lives only on your device, is never transmitted to any server, and disappears if you clear your browser's site data. Nothing about it identifies you personally; it's just numbers tied to your browser, not to you.
Two features on this site are opt-in and off by default until the site owner explicitly activates them. Both are documented in detail in this repository's setup files, and both are built to collect as little as possible:
Like effectively every website, this site is served by a hosting provider (currently Netlify) that may keep short-term technical logs of requests (such as IP address and timestamp) for security and reliability purposes, entirely outside this site's own code or control. This is standard infrastructure practice, not something built into or used by this site's own features, and these logs are not accessed, analyzed, or used by this site for tracking purposes.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Loading a font from a third-party CDN means your browser makes a request to that provider's servers, which may log that request the same way any web request is logged. This is standard practice used by the large majority of modern websites.
This site's content concerns video poker strategy and mathematics and is intended for adults. It does not knowingly collect any information from children, and given the site's design (no accounts, no forms, no personal information requested anywhere), there is no mechanism by which it would.
Clear your browser's local storage for this site at any time to remove all saved trainer progress; there is nothing else to delete, since nothing else is retained anywhere tied to you individually. If the optional leaderboard is active and you'd rather not appear on it, simply don't set a display name, or don't play the daily or weekly challenge.
If what this site collects ever changes — for example, if advertising is added in the future — this page will be updated to reflect exactly what changed, and the "last reviewed" date at the top will move. There is no reason to expect this policy to grow more permissive by surprise.
